Dr. McCoy is a Palmer graduate, experienced educator, athletic coach and admitted expert witness in the field of chiropractic care in the state of South Carolina. With a focus on sound clinical care, he has developed a reputation as a quality provider working with other local physicians to ensure you receive the care you deserve.
Dr. McCoy comes from a family with many Chiropractors and spent his childhood growing up in Spain and Kenya as the son of a missionary family. Prior to calling Moncks Corner home he has held positions as a clinical teaching assistant, been apart of a multi-disciplinary team serving those uninsured, high school rugby coach, Anatomy and Physiology instructor, and various other civic involvements. He has actively taught Anatomy and Physiology I and II for over 10 years.
His clinical interests include conservative management for neck and back pain , lumbosacral transitional segment management, lifting injuries, non-surgical treatment for the herniated disc, sports injury and rehabilitation of the developing athlete, Shoulder rehabilitation and injury prevention in youth throwing athletes, automobile and whiplash injury injury, pregnancy related spinal pain amongst other spinal disorders.
His experience in various chiropractic and physical therapy techniques, weight training and nutrition provide you the opportunity to discuss your concerns and find what is most appropriate for you.
